The back yard was a little confined
For our clients needs so our initial consultation rotated around expanding the yard with a retaining wall.
I proposed integrating a fire pit area to create a really cool space for entertaining and re capture some real estate.
We dug
Out the area along the base of the wall to accommodate the base and maintain the existing drainage swale. Much of the dirt was re- purposed to re grade in front of and behind the retaining wall.
We added the short planter to allow for some built in seating and cater to a green thumb.
The space is perfect for family time and large enough to be a neighborhood gathering spot.
